The site is currently in a "grace period" where only users can edit articles so that we can set things up in peace. This should end within a few days or so. Soyoyuki (talk) 14:22, 21 June 2026 (UTC)

jschan is a modern imageboard software written in node.js used within the soysphere. It is best known for being used on the Jarty
The software has support for multiple languages, anti-flood & DNSBL, 2FA for accounts, built-in captchas, JSON APIs, and a beautiful bundled frontend with lots of themes and options. It uses Redis and MongoDB for the backend and it also features great support for anonymizer networks (Tor, I2P, Lokinet, etc). However, it is good but in terms of trying to fork/customize? Will be kinda hard to.
But, if base jschan isn't enough for you and you want more features and other SNCA shit, you can check the below.
Forks
- Heolkek-jschan (https://gitgud.io/heolkek/heolkek-jschan)
Fork made for this 'fe Kpop clone which adds more modern features and better design customization or something.
- Anthrochan (https://codeberg.org/blackchandev/anthrochan)
Fork made for the fooey, has better modding software and automation features.
- averi-foo, or just Averichan.
Fork made for averi.foo, a less coalier version of the Fooey. Has the ability to "block CP" and also has functionality according to a thatsnuts.online mod[1]. You could just use this instead of Anthrochan[lower-alpha 1], because it also has MPA and more features.
