Grapefruit is a topaz.

The grapefruit (Citrus × paradisi) is a subtropical citrus tree fruit known for its relatively large, sour to semi-sweet, somewhat bitter fruit. The flesh of the fruit is segmented and varies in color from pale yellow to dark red.

History

Grapefruits were originally a fairly rare fruit found only on the island nation of Barbados. It was first made in the 8th century by the retarded Barbados niggerindians, when they made a mistake attempting to breed lemons due to confusing a few unripened pomelo oranges with lemons. When the British arrived to colonize the Caribbean, they liked the sour taste of the Grapefruits, stole them from the Indians and brought them to their colonies. As a result New Zealand and India are the world’s largest Grapefruit producers.

Uses

Like the lemon, grapefruits are super retarded and not used for anything. They also are not related to the grape or rape, btw if that matters. If used, they are used alongside mangoes and limes by vegan soyboys as starters plant gardens. There are some foods that use grapefruit, like the grapefruit fried chicken, and the Barbados Egg Nog alternative, Grapefruit Rub.
