The Chinny/Coalfarmer's Ban Controversy is coal.On June 29, 2026, a thread in Swinny's /asg/ warned users that "coalfarmer" was being automoderated.[this thread just existed, okay? there are no archives] The warning sparked significant outrage in the thread, and the discussion quickly shifted to the censorship of the Chinny.
Users argued that it should be banned from the SECApedia due to degeneracy and pedophilia. After debating with the janitors, they decided to demoralize the wiki.
Two notable approvers then began griefing the SECApedia. They made disruptive edits to the main page and censored the Chinny's URL. This triggered a major conflict between the "hunky swines" and the unpaid SECApedia janitors. In the aftermath, all two approvers were either demoted or resigned
Community Rules Poll
[edit | edit source]Just as the swinny /asg/ thread was mysteriously deleted, soyoyuki hosted a poll on whether to change the sites community rules.
Out of the 3 options (pictured below), the half-compromise option won in a landslide victory, which would slightly change the community rules. Unsurprisingly, only 3 people voted for the Full censor option.
