The Swinny Smear Campaign is led by Quotecord, with its goal being to ruin the Swinny's reputation, mostly in attempts to stump their recent growth.
History
On the SoyBooru, multiple depictions of Swinny users as pedophiles have appeared, in one case even depicting one as a Mexiaryan. This caused outrage, as it could be seen as promoting pedophilia.
In the middle of June, the Swinny began to be mass spammed with 'P advertisements in threads, specifically mentioning megalinks to multiple 'P genres. Later the Swinny would be spammed with multiple 8-digit gibberish characters, and mod.php was DDoSed. The spammer later mocked sweens with greentexts. For a brief period, the site had a gateway "Verifying your request" but the spam continued. It was reverted and caused 6 days of posts to be lost for a brief period of time before they were restored. Some vichan features were broken as a result.
