Touhou and Der Sharty

Prior to being associated with basedjaks (and other onions adjacent NAS), /qa/ served essentially the same purpose but with anime, including Touhou instead of 'jaks. From moot's last QA session to summer 2020, not much changed until a certain GigaChad poster and his friends started spamming the traditional 'jak boards, /tv/ and /int/. This clique was so persistent they ended up colonizing /qa/, but rather than driving out the resident weebs they knew them and thus the proto-teen was brought forth.
