Namefag is a term for people who decide to fill the name form and attach a name to themselves, generally on anonymous websites such as 4cuck or the sharty (or use other forms of namefaggotry when the option is not available due to restriction or lack there of). The term can be expanded to include basically everyone who fills out the name form in all types of websites such as the soybooru, shroom et cetera. Due to the culture of anonymous imageboards, namefags are widely concidered to be the biggest FAGGOTS. Namefags can be seen using other forms of identification like Avatarfagging and the such, as in their attention seeking nature they would eventually pick up on the rest of the forms of personalization.

Namefag techniques

Due to demand from attention seeking faggots to identify themselves on websites going farther than places where its fully implemented, there have been developed (by the finest minds of lesotho) various ways of bypassing such technical limitations.

Account

Account is the default way of namefagging and is the least restrictive one, providing the security of the name, persistent storage and the rest of the customisation that can be done to personalise yourself. Usualy, besides being identifiable, accounts are generaly more privileged and dedicated to site (heckin upvoterinos) than the anonymous posters which makes accountfags faggots in an aditional way.

Imageboard fields

Imageboard fields are those snca text fields on op of the main text body one, where theres usualy the indominable name field, that allows you to additionaly tripfag and capfag (if yorue a trannitor or fagmin), email field and topic field.

In case of no restriction, namefags would usually just put their name in the dedicated field, but unlike in account, the name can be arbitrarily put by anyphono, so person who just put their name on imageboard will instantly recieve a reppey with a post with his name that says that he is trans btw. To prevent this, namefags on imageboards almost allways use the tripcode in conjunction to name, which is the hashed string from the password inputted after one hash sign (portable and unsecure, you can bruteforce their tripcode) or double hashsign (specific to each imageboard but the hash algorithm is unique to the imageboard aswell). Names also can be used in conjunction with capcode, which is a function specific to imageboard staff that adds the funny red ## Admin (or whatever role they have) after their name.

When namefields are disabled, namefags would either use email field to put their name, or topic, as op or when its enabled in reppeys. That however shares the problem of nontripcoded names, as anyone can put anything there. To prevent namecucking completely, goodboy admin should restrict those fields and set email as "sage only".

In soysplinters, besides the top fields, theres also could be a rizz system in one way or another, which could be used to identify yourself, aka "flagfag" (especialy when you are the only alive person in some snca microclitty country like singapore).

"Sincerelyfagging"

When everything else is unavailable, namefags can put their names at the end of the message, similar to the structure of letters, hence the name. This is rarely used ever as it is insanely stupid.

• Warrior-Z - A muslim admin who is best known for endlessly spamming his copypastas on the booru. He likes debating people about theology and powerscaling and thinks he is Kratos, Punisher, Batman and Spawn. He has also been spotted editing his own wiki page multiple times. Probably the most controversial SoyBooru user. He is one of the few that managed to make it out of the namefag hood.
• beefsoup - Buryat namefag best known for leaking over rocket monkeys and for being the creator of Syndromejak. He also created the Me and your mom series where he depicts himself sleeping with other namefags' mothers he dislikes.mat or may not have died from epilepssy on the 'ru. (this is still uncomfirmed, if it is trve then RIP legend.) He's back
• Coemskong - Brazilian janny who posts a large number of high effort soyjak art. He is one of the namefags with the highest number of favorites and likes on the site, despite having just over 100 posts.
• emerald - British approver and Garten of BanBan lover who leaked about being demoted once. The shitflinging about him gave rise to the femjaking trend.
• Genodile - Old user who posts gemmy OCs.
• Rot - A low-quality soyjak artist who still hasn't learned how to draw with proper form applied to his "art". He has a Twitter account YouTube and Soyblog.
• Sectionalism - Oldfag and former janny who posts gemmy OC. Was involved in Italo-Argentine War.
• SerChuddietheStrong - Irish namefag best known for imagining himself and Soychang as a couple. He also draws a lot of traced arts with her.
• Spanish_Chud - Spanish namefag who was involved in the Hispano-Moroccan War, often likes commenting ''MQRQCCAN GEMERALD'' on posts depicting a slopjak or a brimstone post.
• Toilet-G - An unironic Skibidi Toilet and Transformers fan best known for seething about whatever has females in it because he's a sigma chad or whatever. Comes from New Zealand.
• Aztechicano/rayenari - Mexican-American Chicano female namefag. Xe was a belligerent for Mexico in the Italo-Mexican War. Is of Amerindian descent a white lady larping as a baby sacrificer because foids love to do it for some reason. best known for being a massive retard.
• Wordsalot- Ukrainian namefag who loves Soytan and Tama and often braps up the comment section of booru posts and boorum threads xhe dislikes with spam. Would spam gore if someone made xher leak and xhe was allowed to.
• Loot - Gay pinoy furfag that used to hate furries, joined during froot and obsesses over Invincible, NOT the former owner of the jarty.

• Nabbv aka Cuckjeet ('ki page) - Vietnamese (but larps as British) Namefag who goes seething about how Joel is ban evading ev&doe he is not on the Soysphere anymore since 2024. He created derpson and has a hyperfixation on Derpina. He has one of the worst reaction scores in the 'ru.
• Zwedon - Some Faggot that won't stop posting a mexiaryan edit of Anton Chigurh from no country for old men. Is patient Zero of Obsessive Antonposting Disorder.
• Italian_Chad - Namefag countrywarrior, one of the main combatants of the Italo-Argentine War and the Italo-Mexican War, makes jaks out of your country if you insult Italy and hated satoko_houjou_fan. Had a recent come back in march 2026, but then seems to have disappeared again.
• Quiddy - Namefag and janitor who self inserts as BNRAN squidward. known for apparently doxxing olgol and nigger hatred.
• Ye_old_valz/ye old fred - Former schlog user that self insert as some random sheep furfag OC named sandypants, apparently a he's buddhist.
• lanchonett - Self admitted branigger that makes furfags dressed on nazi uniforms.
• Turrican - A /calm/ 'ki and 'ru janny that is the number one fan of Kliksjak. He once IP logged a bunch of lolicons on 4chan.^🗝️
• brimnigger - The bane of all soytan posters, he makes porn of namefags often being raped by futanari versions of them.
• austrian_chud - Nuvariant forcer, notable for being hated by Olgol.
• SerChuddietheStrong - Single handely brought back the useless color penis war on the 'ru, worst nigger so far this month of May so far.
• GoyRoyaleWon - Other penis color war forcer on the 'ru, used to HTSM over female characters but became a furry baiter and started forcing Gameoverse goyslop.
