soyzellig.party, mostly known as the Zarty is an imageboard related to the dutch indie animated series Ongezellig, created by Zoot on September 27, 2023 after Froot deleted the 50 board plan board /zellig/. soyzellig.party is notably the third attempt at making an Ongezellig imageboard, with the two failed attempts being zellig.party and zellig.site. It has a Telegram, Doesn't exist anymore[1] Moved to a new link, click here, used to have a forum or whatever, [2] has a forum and booru. It also had it's own section on Nophonopedia but was deleted

History

Prior to its existence

Prior to the splinter's existence there were prior attempts for a homeplace for Zaryans to flok to, these being zellig.party, an official /zellig/ board site called zellig.board which had 3 boards /zellig/- Zellig, /lib/-Liberty, and /ski/- Skibidi, zellig.site which had been spammed by CSAM [3]. All of these inevitably died.

Site History

The Zarty was created when some random 'teen asked for it [4], and the domain was chosen due to being quite cheap by Zoot. [5] The imageboard originally used TinyIB because he was to dumb to know how to work Vichan until he realized TinyIB was to shit so he changed it to Vichan. In 2024, after the cancellation of Ongezellig, NuAdmin would post about Zoot's inactivity due to that leading to fears of the zarty's domain expiring, [6] with Zoot clarifying he's just preoccupied with life. Doomposting on the Zarty became more often after this point until Zoot posted a spine-tingling livestream [7] [8] about it where he clarified he began to stop being able to relate to zaryans that much as he used to. Later Zoot would announce he would not be selling the site to anyone. [9]

On June 10th (or around there) an announcement was posted that Bob had been appointed as co-admin of the Zarty where he would host a Q&A, [10] announcing racebait would be sorta banned, Zoot would eventually leave the site to focus on OC and ocgemerald.

Association with der 'cord

On December 13th a thread was created on the jarty's /sharty/ board showing alleged evidence of the Zarty having a cord server. [11] With Zoot later confirming it does in fact exist, even saying he uses Discord, although it's original purpose was fighting against the porn cabal that had existed in the zellig community, he later stayed for the cool people [12] along with that confirming he has a serperate cord server for quick communication and talking about the site, he also pointed out there wasa Telegram for this as well. A post was posted where a Swinny frogposter posts a bone-chilling post about some discord server filled with pedoes who samefag and derail threads with AI porn and other brimstone, where he got mocked for being an idiot and downloading futa mymy 'p and seeming to be a 'cord user, potentially getting banned, later there would be a post on the Swinny's /sph/ board about "zelligate 2.5" [13]

Relationship with 4chan /co/

It should be noted that the Zarty has a wiki article on this very subject

The userbase of the Zarty referred to as Zaryans have had a long history with the board /co/, with it being there original homeland before moving to /qa/, then the sharty, then to the Zarty. /co/ is the mortal enemy of the Zarty as they draw 'p of the 'zellig sisters (like the grim mymy incidient).

Every September /co/ organizes a poll for /co/omers to vote on what is the best imaginary female in an elimination style voting. In 2025, they didn't even get on the poll at all geg [14]

Death and Bunker

The site went down randomly on the 20th of September, with absolutely no word on why. Zaryans clickly flocked to the Sharty's /zarty/ board [15] and a 4 month old booru post would be a home for them [16] with a user advertising their bunker, on the 22 September it would come back with the bunker getting deleted later.

The reason why Quote supported the Zarty is because xe likes Ongezellig himself.[17]

Source code leak

On around 10/22/25 gemcorders managed to what has been described as 'leak good portion of zarty's code'.[18] While some have tried to play it down saying it's nothing citing vichan being as opensource[19], there was some actual exclusive code to zarty that got leaked that day. The leak had revealed that zarty does not even have a proper MPA approval page meaning the jannies have to manually search for unapproved posts.

ocgemerald.club is a forum/imageboard created by Zoot themed around creation of OC. It's a revival of the previous instance [20] of the website, but using custom-built software as a replacement for MyBB and Vichan. The website is also a test instance for the nusoftware as it is supposed to replace Vichan on the zarty in the future[21].
